Charlotte Wales

Known for her ethereal visual spaces imbued with humour and fantasy, the British fashion photographer and filmmaker Charlotte Wales has become a signature eye for some of the world’s biggest fashion houses. Engineering nostalgic and whimsical atmospheres playfully suspended in gravity, her creative vision is matched with a visionary dedication to female camaraderie.

Having studied fine art at Central Saint Martins, Wales has gone on to shoot covers for British Vogue, Vogue Paris, Pop Magazine, Dazed and the Face and campaigns for Hermès, Bottega Veneta, Chloe, Chanel, Cartier and Louis Vuitton. She has also forged long term creative partnerships with young designers Area and Chopova Lowena helping establish their visual identity. With her creative and modern approach to femininity, she has worked with iconic women such as Cindy Crawford, Brooke Shields, Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, FKA Twigs, Zoé Kravitz, Lana Del Rey, and Adele. Kukeri, a book of Wales’s work made in collaboration with Chopova Lowena, was published in 2018.
