Jet Swan

Photographer Jet Swan grew up in North Yorkshire. Her work moves between the parameters of documentary and classical portraiture. With an idiosyncratic visual style laden with deep colour and texture, Swan takes the hallmarks of classical studio photography and brings a bold and modern edge to them. Each of her photos is replete with an almost palpable sense of atmosphere and emotion.

Swan lives in London. Her debut monograph Material was published in 2021 by Loose Joints.
